
Judge Blocks Trump Admin. Freeze of Social Services Funding
A federal judge has temporarily blocked the Trump administration from freezing $10 billion in social services funding for five Democratic-led states. The federal funds support childcare and other programs for low-income families in California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota and New York. The states called the move unconstitutional, and say the funding freeze is creating "operational chaos."
