Suspect dies after crashing stolen $250K Lamborghini, launches hundreds of ft after 113-mph chase
A crime suspect with multiple felony warrants died after crashing a stolen Lamborghini Huracán at over 100 mph during a police chase in Los Angeles, the force of the impact splitting the car in half and launching the driver hundreds of feet through the air.
Dashcam footage from the LAPD shows the moment officers stopped Elliott Dugan, 51, on the morning of April 6 at the intersection of Sherman Way and Reseda Boulevard after spotting him asleep at the wheel of the $250,000 supercar.
After pulling him over, one of the officers asks for his documents, and after finding that the car was reported stolen and that Dugan had multiple warrants for his arrest, the cop asks him to step out of the car.
