Phew!.. this is a biiiiiiig lesson! Elevate your blues playing with a handful of tasty ingredients.. Major and minor pentatonics, minor 6th and minor 9th arpeggios, whole/half diminished scale and simple triads! I guess you could call this "Blues fusion" or "soul jazz" guitar playing, ala Robben Ford and Larry Carlton for example.
We put all of this to good use to play over the rather beautiful changes of a Gospel-esque blues turnaround in the key of G. We'll learn some beautiful ways to play the chord changes before diving deep into the lead side of things.
