Northwell Health is getting into the reality TV game. With high-drama Netflix shows like “Lenox Hill” and “Emergency NYC,” the healthcare company is opening its doors to production crews and viewers alike.
Their Emmy-winning doc, “First Wave,” on Hulu, spent five months filming inside Northwell’s medical centers at the height of the COVID pandemic. “I thought it was very, very important to tell the story, to eventually be able to tell what actually went on in real life,” CEO Michael J. Dowling said.
