Joker 2 Records Historic Drop at the Box Office - IGN The Fix: Entertainment
In today's Fix of entertainment news:
Joker 2 has claimed a new record: biggest second week drop for a comic book movie in cinema history (so far). Joker: Folie à Deux, as it's officially titled, made a miniscule $7 million at the U.S. box office this weekend, an 81% drop from its opening weekend of $37.8 million. On the other hand, indie slasher hit Terrifier 3 was #1 at the domestic box office, earning $18.2 million. In other news, Venom: The Last Dance will be Marvel villain Knull's first live-action cinematic outing, and it won't be the last. This may (or may not be) the final Venom film starring Tom Hardy, but expect to see more of Knull in the future.
