✎ You’ll never reach your potential until you know your why. When I started my first business, I was lost. I almost gave up. I thought maybe I wasn’t good enough or that success just wasn’t meant for me. Then I learned from people like Simon Sinek, who discovered his why after losing his own passion, that purpose changes everything. When I found mine, it gave meaning to every late night, every failure, and every win.
✎ Your why often comes from your pain. Look at Candi Lightner—she lost her daughter to a drunk driver and turned that tragedy into Mothers Against Drunk Driving, saving thousands of lives. For me, my why came from those early struggles as a young entrepreneur. I felt alone, scared, and stuck. Now, I use that pain to serve others who are where I once was. That’s what your why does—it turns your hardest moments into your greatest mission.
✎ But don’t wait for lightning to strike. You don’t find your why by sitting still—you develop it by acting. Follow your curiosity. Try new things. When Howard Schultz went to Italy and saw the coffee culture there, it changed everything for Starbucks. The same can happen for you. Align your life and business with your purpose, not money. Because when you chase meaning first, success follows. Your why is out there. It’s waiting for you to live it. Believe.
