The US has tried to restrain Israel's bombing campaign after the October 7th attacks but so far failed.
Today alone Gaza officials say more than 90 people were killed, 20 of them children, in an Israeli airstrike on a building sheltering displaced people in the northern town of Beit Lahiya. A strike that the US State Department described as a "horrifying incident with a horrifying result."
