
Matthew Perry's Death: Ketamine Doctor Sentenced to 2.5 Years in Prison
Dr. Salvador Plasencia, a former physician who pleaded guilty to distributing ketamine to Matthew Perry, was sentenced to 30 months in prison for his role in the 'Friends' star's death. Perry died in Oct. 2023 after overdosing on the drug, which was originally intended as a therapeutic treatment. Perry’s mother and stepfather, 'Dateline's Keith Morrison, attended the hearing hand in hand. Plasencia is one of multiple people charged in connection with the actor's death.
