Expedition Truck Build | Destination Adventure is Growing!
Today is a very very exciting day for me, because I can finally share with all of you my exciting news. Destination Adventure, the channel and the business, is expanding in a big way. This winter we are not going south, we are staying in the Cariboo and building an expedition truck. My northern content has always done the best on the channel, I am very well connected in the north, and I have access to stories and history there that is undocumented. This is a huge opportunity in my life to get to these places and help preserve the history and stories, and I will do what it takes to get there. I love the MoHo, and it will still be "home", but I need a vehicle that can access remote and isolated areas, and this will be that truck.
The truck candidate is a 1995 Dodge 3500, with a 12 Valve Cummins. Currently it is equipped to be a logging service truck, but the back half will be removed and replaced with living/working quarters, as well as storage for the adventure gear. It will be hauling a trailer for the boat and bikes, and we will just see what else as the build continues.
This video, and in fact this entire project, is incredibly personal to me because this is being built with my Fathers old truck. It was the first new truck he ever bought for his business, and now it is being passed down to mine. I feel very proud to be in this position right now, and I feel so honoured to have support on this build. Several companies are getting onboard in a very big way, and I don't even have words to express my appreciation for that. The first many years of my pursuits were spent fighting against all of the people that didn't believe in dreams and didn't understand ambition. Now I have companies that are happy to support those very same dreams because they recognize the ambition.
Destination Adventure is coming at you this winter with an awesome build series, and then this coming summer, an unbelievable trip North West.
Buckle your seatbelts everybody, because this is gonna be a fun ride.
