The incident - which Israel says is being investigated - comes amid widening Israeli military operations across the Palestinian territories and neighbouring countries in recent days.
An IDF raid on the Syrian village of Beit Jinn overnight killed at least 13 people. The IDF say they were targeting terror suspects, but Syria's government labelled it a 'war crime'.
Israel has also continued to strike Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon. While in Gaza - strikes have been reported in Rafah, with Israel and Hamas accusing each other of repeated ceasefire violations.
