You may not know this, but a 500 mile Semi is confirmed to weigh 23,000, while the 300 mile Semi weighs just 20,000 lbs. Real-world range has been demonstrated at 400-500 miles with a full North American payload of 82,000 lbs, with a 23,000 lbs tractor and 12,000 lbs trailer and 47,000 lbs payload. Of course this is just testing to gauge the best performance. On delivery trips, the Semi's total payload will rarely reach its maximum to protect the vehicle and make it easier for drivers to operate.
