Mercedes-AMG EQE 43 is a sporty version of the electric sedan. The EQE is another Mercedes built on the EVA2 platform after the flagship EQS EV. Because of their curvature and proportions, the EQE and EQS don't look like big cars, but their dimensions are very close to the internal combustion engine limousines - the E-Class and the S-Class, respectively.
The EVA2 platform was designed exclusively for Mercedes-Benz EVs, while smaller electric Mercs - the EQA, EQB and EQC share the platform with existing models, making them more similar to their ICE counterparts. In designing the EQE and EQS, engineers could afford a shorter engine bay and shorter overhangs, which should translate into better aerodynamics and more interior space.
