LAGOON 450 RUNS AGROUND AFTER LOSING ANCHOR!! - (Episode 289)
In this episode we sail to the Maskulyne islands in Vanuatu to meet up with another lagoon 450. But they ended up dragging anchor, and when they went to let out more chain, they found that it was not fastened to the boat, and they lost not only the anchor but their entire length of chain. To make matters worse, in all of the mayhem, they end up on the reef in the middle of the night....
SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 catamaran, which Colin rebuilt with friends and has started sailing around the world. We found bulkhead damage on their catamaran in Panama, so have fixed her up, and are now sailing across the Pacific Ocean!!
