Hundred protests in Syria after Christmas tree set alight
Hundreds of people have taken to the streets across Syria after a Christmas tree was burned down last night.
Footage posted online showed two hooded men setting the tree on fire in a majority Christian town in central Syria. Officials from the HTS group - which led the uprising against former President Assad - said those responsible were "not Syrian" and promised the tree would be restored.
