California Governor Gavin Newsom called the presence of Border Patrol agents conducting arrests outside of an event on California congressional redistricting plans “sick and pathetic.” The operation was led by US Border Patrol Sector Commander Gregory K. Bovino, who said at least one illegal immigrant was detained.
