The First official entry in a new series on "Must-Know Jazz Standards". I'll likely do one of these per month or so, (with the usual content in-between of course.. blues, country, jazz, Americana etc).
The purpose of these videos will be to show you how to play the melody and chords for some of the essential jazz standards. I'll show you some of my preferred options regarding keys, chord changes and voicings. At a later date, we will circle back around and look at chord melodies for these pieces as well as improvisation tactics!
