Telly Paretta (Julianne Moore), facing the man (Linus Roache), remembers all the memories with her son Sam (Christopher Kovaleski). She has the impression that she sees him. She runs after him when it is only an illusion. The man wants her to forget her son, or his experiment will fail. The latter refusing to obey, he gets angry and turns into a monster.
