This is the Type 00, a concept car that represents a hard reset for the Jaguar brand.
Why? Well, Jag’s in such trouble it’s stopped selling cars until 2026 while it reboots with a range of high-end EVs that will chase Bentley buyers and the like.
We’ll see the first production car under this new philosophy – an electric four-door GT – in late 2025, but for now, the Type 00 represents the line in the sand between Jaguar of old and what’s to come.
‘Exuberant Modernism’ is the name of the design language that the Type 00 ushers in, as Jaguar promises future models will ‘Copy Nothing’.
