Demi Moore Confirms She Tried to Make WICKED in the ‘90s! (Exclusive)
Demi Moore and Colman Domingo chat with ET's Denny Directo backstage at the 36th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala. After 'Wicked's box office success, Demi shares the backstory of her attempt to produce and star a movie adaptation of the Broadway musical's source material in the '90s. While Demi wasn't able to bring the Elphaba from Gregory Maguire's novel to the big screen, she believes it was the 'right time' for the world to receive Cynthia Erivo's portrayal of the Wicked Witch. Demi also praises Colman's performance in 'Sing Sing' after presenting him with PSIFF's Spotlight Award honor.
