It’s time for a Britain vs Germany head-to-head!
We’ve got Mat in the Audi RSQ8 Performance, and he’s squaring up against Sam in the Aston Martin DBX 707! The question is, which of these two powerhouses will snatch the chequered flag? Let’s take a closer look at the stats…
The Audi comes packing a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that produces 640hp and 850Nm, with power sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The car weighs in at 2,275kg, and as new it costs £142,000.
As for the Aston Martin DBX 707, it’s also powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, but in this instance it puts down 707hp and 900Nm. This is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed auto gearbox, and it’s slightly lighter than the Audi, at 2,245kg. However, it costs more than the Audi, costing around £210,000.
So will the more powerful Aston snatch it? Or will the Audi claim the win? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE!
