U.S. President Donald Trump on January 9 vowed to protect ICE and other law enforcement officers as tensions rise over the fatal shooting of a 37-year-old woman by an ICE agent in Minneapolis. When asked whether he believed the FBI should share evidence with local officials, Trump said, “Well, normally I would, but they’re crooked officials.”
