This is going to be my forever office, and I want to document the journey of its build process. I love this stuff. This video is the planning phase of how I think I want my office. I'm open to hearing what y'all think and any ideas you may have. I've got two Cat6 running through, so many outlets its split on two circuits, and right now it's just an open canvas. It'll be carpeted, of course, since that's just cozier and provides some solid noise dampening. I need those good acoustics.
What I'll be doing in this office is coding, recording videos from multiple angles, chilling, gaming, reading, writing, and who knows what else - maybe streaming. The décor will include a lot of old duck decoys, some art, and maybe my deer head or pair of stuffed wood ducks - not sure yet. I'd also love a built-in, but it may be wiser to wait until I'm in the office for a few months and have tried out every setup I go over in this video to see which I like the best, then I'll do some nice dark wood built-ins where it makes sense.
My current setup includes a dual monitor PC, maybe another PC with one monitor (dual PC setup), a NAS server, a mic, audio equipment, headphones, lighting, camera, and I like plenty of extra desk space. It'll be interesting to look back at this video and description to see just how much has changed. Hope y'all enjoy the video.
