How Fleur du Mal brings Iconic Ready-to-Wear Lingerie to NYC | New York Next
“From when I was about eight I knew I wanted to be in fashion. So I got my sewing machine, and took sewing lessons,” says Founder and CEO Jennifer Zuccarini.
She sat down with Lydia Moynihan to talk about her early days as a designer studying at FIT, and eventually bringing ready-to-wear luxury lingerie to New York City. Jennifer says it’s not about churning out fast fashion, but creating durable and luxurious items for customers to love for years to come. Fleur du Mal has been worn by celebrities like Beyoncé, and Nicki Minaj. The brand distinguishes itself from retailers like Victoria’s Secret with a mixture of high end custom-made items, and ready-to-wear corsets. It’s no wonder the brand is making waves throughout the city! Fleur du Mal started off as a pop-up, and now has a permanent brick and mortar in SoHo off Broome St. The store is open Monday-Saturday 12-7pm, and Sunday’s 12-6pm.
