Israel continues to bombard Lebanon after Hassan Nasrallah's assassination | 7.30
For the first time since 2006, Israel has hit a target deep inside the Lebanese capital Beirut. It follows days of Israeli bombing in the country causing many civilian casualties and killing top Hezbollah commanders including its leader Hassan Nasrallah — for decades, one of the most consequential figures in the Middle East.
US President Joe Biden said that all-out war must be avoided but Israel says it intends to continue its campaign against Hezbollah.
This report from Jason Om, plus Sarah Ferguson interviews the Minister in charge of Lebanon's emergency response, Dr Nasser Yassin.
