If I could go back and relearn guitar, this is the first thing I’d do. Putting the minor pentatonic on a single string completely changes how you see the neck. You stop thinking in boxes and start hearing real note relationships, phrasing, and movement. It also makes your solos more melodic and helps massively with slide playing. Take the A minor pentatonic, run it up one string, then move it to other keys and strings. It’s one of the fastest ways to level up your fretboard awareness and your sound!
