Mason had just found out about his wife’s affair. He was overcome with emotions and wanted to make her miserable. So, when he came across his coworker, he kissed her and introduced her as his girlfriend. But the wife didn’t believe him and just left. Mason, still wanting to take revenge, asked the girl to be his date for an upcoming office party to make his now ex jealous. 
After slapping Mason for the kiss he stole, the girl agreed. She knew how painful cheating was and genuinely wanted to help him. But she didn’t expect to fall for him.
