The polar plunge is punching through the heart of the country from Minnesota to Maine with frigid temps stretching all the way down to Florida, leaving more than 40 million under cold weather alerts. The wicked weather is wreaking havoc on the nation’s roads, including in Michigan where a 100-car pileup left some with numerous injuries after multiple tractor trailers spun out.
