In this English lesson I'll help you learn everyday phrases about timing, opportunity, and advantage. These are expressions English speakers use when talking about starting early, waiting too long, getting ahead, or falling behind in real life.
In this English class you’ll learn clear meanings and real examples for phrases like to beat the rush, to miss the boat, the early bird gets the worm, too little too late, to beat the crowd, to be late to the party, first come first served, you snooze you lose, to be ahead of the game, to drag your feet, to be a step ahead, to be two steps behind, to get a head start, to play catch-up, to get started right away, to procrastinate, to have an edge, and to be at a disadvantage. These phrases are extremely common in work, school, travel, and everyday English conversations.
By the end of this lesson, you’ll be able to talk confidently about decisions, timing, preparation, and results using natural English expressions. You’ll sound clearer, more fluent, and more confident when describing real-life situations where timing really matters.
