We’re in the midst of one of the worst flu seasons in the last 25 years. And it’s not uncommon for people to slam vitamin C- and vitamin D-rich foods and supplements to combat their colds and respiratory issues — when it comes to being sick, we’ll do anything to avoid it. But epidemiologist Katelyn Jetelina told Explain It to Me host Jonquilyn Hill that all these vitamins may not be making as big a difference as we may hope.
