Dark matter is a mysterious substance which makes up roughly 85% of the matter in the universe. But physicists have yet to figure out what dark matter actually is. In a new paper, a group of researchers has revived a theory put forth by Ed Witten in 1984, using his so-called “quark nuggets” to explain dark matter. Let’s take a look.
