Labor’s childcare pitch to voters | 7.30
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced a policy on childcare costs to take to next year's election.
He pledged to scrap the activity test that dictates access to government childcare subsidies.
Instead, every family earning less than $530,000 a year will be guaranteed access to at least three days of subsidised childcare a week if Labor is re-elected.
Labor would also establish a $1 billion "building early education fund".
7.30’s chief political correspondent Laura Tingle reports.
