Running 230km Over 24 Hours With No Breaks
In February 2025 a French rapper by the name of Riles successfully completed a 24-hour non-stop run on a treadmill without any breaks, covering more than two hundred and thirty kilometers, with a giant circular saw operating behind him, all while being live streamed.
The event, dubbed Survival Run, is described by Riles as a performance art piece, exploring the limits of perseverance and obsession, which was to also help promote his new album Survival Mode.
The circular saw that was constantly turning behind him served as a metaphor for social and personal pressures, pushing individuals to go further despite fatigue, pain, or fear.
Riles had been documenting his running progress on X leading up to the event, with over the 2.5 years of intense preparation.
During his training he previously ran 120 kilometers in nine hours and 20 minutes without any breaks and before that, he ran 100 kilometers in nearly nine and a half hours.
Have you ever pushed yourself way past your limits and kept going; let me know what it was in the comments.
