Ants vs Humans - T Shape Problem Solving Test
Prof. Ofer Feinerman at the Weizmann Institute of Science, set out to compare the problem-solving abilities of Ants vs Humans. The challenge was classic piano movers puzzle, maneuvering a large, oddly shaped object through a confined space.
The goal was to understand how collective intelligence operates when communication is not possible and whether teamwork makes a group smarter than its individual members.
The professor finds that when ants work in groups, their performance rises significantly. However groups of people do not show such improvement and when their communication is restricted, their performances deteriorated.
Thanks for watching.
