I apologize; it completely slipped my mind. In this example:
'Original: “And, you know, again, this young generation, because of all the reasons we’ve talked about and more, seems to exhibit the traits of being very conflict-avoidant, very uncomfortable with uncomfortable.”
Option1 “This young generation, for various reasons we’ve discussed, often shows traits of being conflict-avoidant and uncomfortable with approaching challenging situations.”
Option 2: “This young generation, as we’ve discussed, tends to be very conflict-avoidant and uncomfortable with difficult situations.”
I forgot to point out that we also substituted 'because of all the reasons we’ve talked about and more' with the word 'various' for conciseness, and 'very uncomfortable with uncomfortable' with 'with approaching challenging situations,' which is basically what it means in the first example.
In the second example, we substituted 'because of all the reasons we’ve talked about and more' with 'as we’ve discussed' and 'very uncomfortable with uncomfortable' with 'uncomfortable with difficult situations.
Vocabulary and phrases:
1. Conflict Avoidant is someone who tries to avoid arguments or disagreements because they don’t like dealing with conflict.
1. Tend To means often or usually do something; it's about your habits or regular behavior.
1. To Be Very Uncomfortable with Uncomfortable means feeling really uneasy or awkward when things get tough, weird, or when there’s conflict.
1. Exhibit (in this context as a verb, means “to show”)To display or show a particular behavior or quality.
1. Would Rather is used to express a preference for one thing over another.
1. The Meaning of “Why” in This Question
* Context: “The question I wanted to ask you was: was there a point in your life where you’d felt like you drifted so far from your ‘why’ that you realized the importance of it for the first time?”
* In this context, “why” refers to your purpose, motivation, or reason for doing something in life. It’s about understanding what drives you.
1. Proverbial American Dream.
This refers to the classic idea of achieving success, like owning a home, having a stable job, and living comfortably—basically, living the “ideal” American lifestyle.
1. To Come Clean means to be honest and confess something you’ve been hiding or weren’t fully truthful about.

Hey Everyone! ) I’m Anna and welcome to my channel. Here, I post some useful information for English learners. I’m from Ukraine and I’ve worked on my English and accent, for the most part, on my own, but you can find out and trace my story by watching my videos. I’ve been studying American pronunciation for a long time, and I still do, and I guess I always will – because it’s not math. Learning a language, it’s a lifetime journey. I know exactly what it takes to become fluent and acquire an accent in a non-English speaking country, and I’ve never even been to one. And I’m sharing this information here – on my channel.
