Lil Nas X Avoids Jail Time for Naked 2025 Arrest, Will Continue Mental Health Treatment

Lil Nas X was not sentenced to any jail time related to the August 2025 incident in which the singer was found wandering Los Angeles in underwear and cowboy boots, before stripping naked entirely. The rapper has since completed out-of-state inpatient treatment. He was granted a mental health diversion, and must follow a strict regimen for two years, completing his required continued treatment. If the diversion is successful, the case will be thrown out. A progress hearing is set for July 29.
