✎ I sat down with Corey Poirier in Toronto to talk about why so many people feel stuck—and how I broke free. I shared my simple rule: don’t run away from a job you hate, move toward a mission you love. I explained my Built to Serve idea in plain steps—your purpose comes from your pain, use it to help people, and make work that matters. We also dug into why YouTube is the best place to learn today and why small creators can win when the algorithm changes.
✎ I told my story with real numbers. I ran a website with 100,000+ pages and 6,000 writers, then shut it down to focus on YouTube. The early years were slow—about 9,000 subscribers in six years—then we grew to 2 million, and later 4 million+. I’m an introvert, but I still hit publish. I explained how relationships protect your channel when you feature clips, and how I title “growth videos” to ride proven topics and get discovered.
✎ You’ll hear practical steps you can use today: pick a mission, serve people, and make better content each week. Don’t blame competition or the algorithm—use updates to your advantage. Study what works, title smart, and improve your interviewing skills. Use AI as a tool, but stay real and honest.
