Chinese phone company Honor announced its new “Robot Phone” in October: A phone that's equipped with an AI-enabled, gimbal-mounted camera that unfolds from the phone’s rear and can shoot photos and film video in any direction. Verge news editor Dominic Preston just saw the phone at CES, and it didn’t do any of that. Honor only has a static prototype model ready to show off right now and still won't confirm anything about its specs or final features. Still, Honor promises there will be more to see during Mobile World Congress next month, and that the Robot Phone will really go on sale but only in China.
