In this episode of General Knowledge I try to understand why Swing States exist in US elections. What they are and why they are characterized as such, contrasting with the more 'crystalized' electorate states. I begin by explaining the Electoral College system, explaining why it was created and how it works and understanding how individual state results matter mostly because of it. Then we move on to learning why Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona and Nevada are Swing States this time around but they weren't always among them.
