Can You Rig An Election? | America, Are You OK?

Donald Trump likes to say America’s elections are rigged. And he’s right. In a way. America’s electoral system is littered with advantages that help those in power, stay in power. Politicians in many states draw their own electoral boundaries, and there’s no rule preventing them from doing it. But, they’re not doing anything wrong. It’s part of the system and they’re not even really trying to hide it. Is gerrymandering rotting America’s faith in politics? And is it contributing to help hollow out the political centre and polarise congress?
