L’Oreal at CES means there’s advanced beauty tech on the horizon. Verge senior wearables reviewer Victoria Song saw the company’s latest hair straightener, called the Light Straight. It’s designed like a traditional flat iron with near-infrared light to style the hair without extreme heat. Victoria also saw promising LED masks. They sit closer to the skin and are more flexible than others on the market. L’Oreal is seeking a 510(k) FDA clearance, so neither product is immediately available. There is no pricing yet but will most likely hit the market next year.
