Mohamed Al Fayed a 'monster facilitated by Harrods', lawyers of former employees say
Lawyers for 37 former Harrods employees who say they were raped or sexually assaulted by the late Mohamed Al Fayed have described him as a monster who was facilitated by Harrods.
They've told a press conference the luxury department store he owned not only failed to intervene in what they called a "vast web of abuse", but helped cover up abuse allegations.
Its current owners have apologised and say they have a settlement process in place for alleged victims.
