As the demonic infection spreads during a wedding reception, chaos ensues, and the priest finds himself in a precarious situation. The priest is trying to protect the remaining survivors from the infected, who have turned into violent, zombie-like creatures. As the creatures close in, the priest begins reciting a prayer or biblical passage, hoping to fend off the demonic entities. His words momentarily stop the infected, as they are somewhat sensitive to religious elements, which is a recurring theme in the [REC] series.
