Italian PM Meloni Says She Quit Smoking, Jokes She Is A 'Fighter' At G7

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni drew laughs from fellow leaders at the G7 summit in France after joking that wearing a tie made her a “fighter” and revealing she had stopped smoking a month ago. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen praised the decision, while European Council President Antonio Costa said he quit in 2005 and never returned to the habit.
