FBI Arrests Four in Nearly $20 Million Minnesota Healthcare Fraud Investigation
FBI Director Kash Patel said federal agents and their partners executed 17 search warrants in Minnesota in a single day and arrested four people accused of healthcare fraud. The arrests are tied to a 26-count indictment alleging nearly $20 million in intended fraud and losses across several healthcare businesses. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent separately said the department had returned $175 million in payments that would have gone to deceased individuals over the past year and recovered funds for victims of overseas fraud.
