Mayday Air Disaster | S2E05 | Lost!
American Airlines Flight 965 was held on the tarmac for two hours. The pilots, wanting to make up for lost time, are pushing the Boeing 757 to its limit. As the plane prepares to descend, an alarm sounds in the cockpit. They are heading straight for a mountain! Despite their navigation system they are 12 miles off course. Just as the flight crew gets the plane’s nose back up; the aircraft slams into the top of one of the mountains, disintegrating on contact. Only four people survive the crash.
