Val Kilmer’s Daughter Defends Late Dad’s Acting Return Via AI

Mercedes Kilmer, daughter of late actor Val Kilmer, appeared on 'Today' to respond to the backlash surrounding her father's upcoming, posthumous film, 'As Deep as the Grave,' which does not yet have a release date. The film uses AI technology to bring the 'Top Gun' star back to life on screen, after his death last year following a long battle with cancer. Val's family consented to his likeness being used, with Mercedes defending the unprecedented move.
