Adam Savage Installs a Lathe Variable Frequency Drive!
Now with two lathes set up in the shop, Adam thinks about how to maximize the utility of each for his machining projects. One thing that'll help is the installation of a VFD--variable frequency drive--to control the speed of his second lathe. The installation isn't diffcult, even if Adam ends up having bought the wrong VFD for his lathe model. Let's see if he can get it working!
