Sent by the Lord Chamberlain, the royal household’s most senior official, the letter clarified the couple’s status ‘to avoid doubt or confusion.’ The unusual directive comes after the couple moved back to the UK with their two children. A spokesperson for the Sussexes told the BBC the couple was ‘a little surprised’ they had not been told about the letter ahead of time. Harry was seen for the first time since his move at Tower Bridge Studios, a video and podcasting studio in London, where he is said to be working on a ‘mystery project.’
