What do fine art students think about Lucian Freud? | National Gallery
To mark Lucian Freud’s 100th birthday, we met three current students from the Slade School of Fine Art, where Freud previously taught, to hear how a new generation of figurative artists relate to Freud and his work.
With thanks to the Slade School of Fine Art and Mark Lee, Netanya Schwab-Matalon and Hannah Uzor.
This first major exhibition of Lucian Freud’s work in 10 years brings together paintings from more than seven decades.
