Capturing Soundscapes With a Classic Film Sound Recorder
I always wanted to use my Swiss-made Nagra 4-S reel-to-reel recorder in its intended role: as an outdoor field / film sound recorder. So when my friend Wouter asked me if I want to try out his new mics with him I took this venerable and very heavy tape machine with me. When I hit vari-speed everything came together.
